As of 7/30/09 i have ordered a aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan, fairlane now has 3;55 gears and a posi (: Waited a year for it now have it(: Took to drags and was kinda dissapointed in running low 15s but with the right tune up aka bigger carb, better exhaust, new fuel pump and fuel lines, pro billet distributor and a stall converter should pull low 13s easy. I realized my timing was 23 degrees off advanced so that was an issue haha all should be dont by next summer. I know a long wait but its expensive for all this stuff and lots of other stuff to finish before persue fasterness lol.

High school drags round 2 lol. So the high school drags was a complete fail. Towed the fairlane up to the strip and they wouldnt let us run cus i didnt have neutral safety switch so i was pissed. In a good note everyone loved the fairlane and respected it so it made me happy. Ill be there next year even faster but i guess we will all have to wait to see how fast she will really run (: SO now i have missed it 2 years in a row with the fairlane so dissapointed but will race for sure senior year so that will be cool.

We had a car show at our high school in june and i won classic/muscle under the student category so that was cool and i got a nice big trophy so im even more proud of the fairlane now. For my senior project this summer i will be pulling apart the dash and putting in all brand new autometer ultra lite gauges. SHould look pretty sick when done. if anyone has any advice or can help with pulling apart dash so i dont mess anything major up message me please lol. Come back for more updates soon

As of 06/15/09 my parents got a divorce and am in the process of moving with my dad. We got a cool house with a big 2 car garage and mini shop area so it will be nice working on the fairlane in there. I also got my own toolbox which is really cool and since summer is starting and  i am outta school it is time to order all of my gauges. New pics will be posted soon after fully done moving. as this goes i am in new house and its good so thats all over and done with (:

Check bottome pics for my new dash look

dominicks64's 1964 Ford Fairlanethis is what i call saving a 1964 fairlane 500 sports coupe after sitting outside with no front or back windshielld uncovered for 2 strait years do to being no windshields for 2 years and being out in the rain we had to cut out a lot of the floor under the drivers and passnegers side and by were your feet go but did not take any pictures but will have some of the patched up ones soon.my dad was always trying to convince me to get the car painted black because he had a 1962 galaxie 500xl that was black with red interior, but i think with the teardrop hood we are putting on it, it would look more like a thunderbolt just plain white and suprisingly the paint on the car wasnt actually that bad for sitting in rain for two years after being painted, and still isnt.

dominicks64's 1964 Ford Fairlane after putting on the front fender sphere. we still half to paint all the side spheres but we are gonna do all that when we get them all on the car.

Thank you for the nice comments on my ride in the past! Please take a moment to go to texacocarofthedecades.com and vote for it there if you haven't already. Right now in the overall standings a Pacer, Crossfire, Smart Car are beating me and the VW Bug is closing in fast in my decade! I could really use the help!
