Much of the interior will not be completed until bodywork is finished. Plans include black carpet, a pair of '04 Grand Prix seats, a Hurst Quarterstick shifter, custom dash using Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges, and a Grant steering wheel.
Here is a concept drawing that I did for the interior of the wagon. (Not in the drawing: A black Grant "Formula 1" wheel will be used, along with a Hurst QuarterStick floor shifter.)
Original bench interior and the new 2004 Grand Prix power buckets.
Gauge layout.
Started painting the interior panels. Doing most of the black pieces now. The carpet will be black.
Got the new Wideband O2 kit. The included gauge will be mounted in place of the far left dash vent.
The guage cluster(s) and possibly some other accents will be made with this... :)
Got some pics from today. (I love daylight savings!) Got the Hurst mounted, started playin' with ideas for the ECM and ignition box, and started puttin' carpet in the cargo area.
Almost done...
Door panel(s). Still messin' with ideas for the rest of the interior.
Here is the gauge panel that will be made of out Carbon Fiber..
The fuel cell is in, and I decided to use the carpeted section that the spare tire door attaches to. Turned out pretty good. Much cleaner than before!
As I was removing the rest of the interior, such as the headliner, I came across something pretty exciting. The build sheet!
Now if I could only find the one for my SS : /
