NEW ENCLOSURE

This is the new enclosure (4th system) that I built myself. The bottom and sides are 3/4" MDF board.  The enclosure has a total of 10 cubic ft of air space...4 - 2.50 cubic ft chambers.  My other BOX was WAY TOO BIG and took away from the "X"...  This new one looks and sounds way better... ;^) 

          These pic`s below are before the new setup was finished...They are here till I can get a better camera to get pic`s of the subs glowing.

                            

 

 

 

*****Update 8-13-09*****

Just got my 6 new pairs of Soundstream TRC.60C Tarantula Series Component speakers and 2 new pairs of thier SST 6x9`s.   These new components are Bad Ass!!! 

The dust caps are clear on the component speakers...I will back light these also with my LED`s so all my speakers thruout will glow orange ;^D  Here is a teaser with another color.

All primered and ready to go to Lucky Luciano Custom Paint  in Az. for paint. Going with a House of Kolor champagne to match the outside.

 

 

 

After sanding with 80grit and it`s coat of body filler and

after LOTS and LOTS of sanding ;^P

Test fit to make sure everything looks good

Cut out the sides to go with my tribal scheme.  Here it is all wrapped in fleece.  The 2 small squares down low on each side will hold my 2 Kinetik HC 600 powercells.

 

 

 

 One last test fit to make sure everything looks good before the fiberglass.

Here you can get a better idea of what I`m trying to achieve.

Each sub has it`s own seperated 2.50 cubic ft enclosure with a 4" x 10" port tuned to 33.82 Hz. You can see 2 of the 4 amplifiers, the rest will follow forward.

 Rewired and upgraded everything in vehicle with Knu Konceptz wiring.  Did "Big 3" and all power and grounds upgraded to 1/0 gauge.

     2 inline fuses with mini ANL fuses...one for each of the 2 - 1/0 gauge runs to the Kinetik powercells at the rear of the vehicle.  Also ran a 1/0 gauge ground from front powercells to rear ground blocks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

 

 Konfuzed chrome positive and negative battery terminals.  Digital distribution block under hood for accessories.

 There are 4 amplifiers. You can see the floating amp that is suspended between the 4 subs, and the other 3 are below it in the floor with a trim panel wrapped in suede.  

 

Just finished the lighting on the subs. There is a total of 1200 LED`s ...300 LED`s per sub and they look like their on FIRE!!

The LEDs are SPL and vibration proof and carry a lifetime warranty.  Anyone interested in some, just let me know ;^)

Wrapped, and installed...turned out looking pretty good ;^)

Here is the "Fourth Order" enlcosure for the subs which will feature 4 slot vents. Will have 11.93 cubic ft total of air space and will be tuned to 37.93 Hz.

Features 4 seperate chambers for stregnth.

Each chamber has it`s own slotted vent.

I BUILT THE CUSTOM ENCLOSURE FOR BOTH KICKER 15" L7 SUBS AND WRAPPED IT IN SUEDE ALONG WITH MY AMP RACK COVER. THEN I INSTALLED COLOR MATCHED GRILLES ON SUBS. RUNNING 3 PAIRS OF PIONEER 681R SPEAKERS FOR THE HIGHS, WHICH ARE POWERED BY AN MTX TE-1004 4 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER. VIDEO IS FED FROM THE ECLIPSE 6610 UP FRONT AND A SOUND STREAM VDVD-160 IN 2ND SEAT CONSOLE AND PLAYSTATION 2 TO THE SOUND STREAM VAV-4 MULTI AUDIO/VIDEO CONTROLLER.
