First off, I'd like to say that this has been a bumpy road that my wife and I have drivin down and I don't know that the box would be in the place it is today if it weren't for her. Not only has she supported the project but she's been heavily involved! She's done much of the paint, fiberglass and fabric work that's been put in the interior. She's made many runs to the store to grab parts and she's even done some engine work too! Not to mention that some of the photos you'll see on here will be her handy work as well. Definitely couldn't have done what we have without her.

Before I begin the project, I'd like to thank Nathan Peddicord and his awesome custom Alternator shop, Excessive Amperage! Not only did Nate hook me up with a sweet black and yellow powdercoated custom 200 amp alternator but he sponsored my vehicle and built and shipped this alternator in no time flat. This alternator was a perfect match, bolted up just as the stock casing should, and pushes a consistent 14.6 Volts all day long. This alternator is the only thing keeping my Rockford Fosgate 25 to Life 5 Channel from eating my entire electrical system. Awesome product, thanks again Nate!

Okay on with the project. I will show the progression through the pictures and give some notes as we go along. Starting back when my wife first bought the car, it was actually meant to be hers and I would have been driving my xA. When I returned from the deployment I was on, we decided that two small cars just wouldn't be feasible so we opted to keep the xB which was more modified and is a Release Series instead of the xA. I, then, took on the xB as my daily driver so my wife could have her Jeep Commander.
The car started out as only having the paint, wheels, lowering springs and a couple engine mods when we bought it. From that we started a lot of stereo work.

First to be installed was the Alpine IVA W205 with bluetooth and ipod adapters. Then also came the Rockford Fosgate Power1000 25 to Life 5 Channel amp powering only the two 15" P3 RF Subs as you can see. At the first show I took it to the system pushed an impressive 147.0db to take second in the sound competition. Not bad for a first time out.
