hey wats up people, my name is hector n dis is my '03 tiburon gt. i just got it this past september of 2007. haven't really been able 2 put mods on it since i just got out of high skool. CLASS OF '08 lol. my plan for dis car is remove the headlights and bumper and add the '05 headlights and bumper conversion (it's gonna take me a while i get there). 7/8/08 - just removed the original spoiler that it came wit. i put on another dat looks like it but is a little bit bigger. i will be posting up pictures soon. also i ordered a set of neon lights n just waiting for them to come in

7/16/08 just added 2 pics of the spoiler i recently put on. i no its the same one like other tibbys have, but tell me wat u think. 

  8/13/08- got pulled over the other day at a road block. i got a ticket for having my window tint too dark. now i gotta have it changed to a 30% tint. it SUCKS

8/26/08- just went to talk 2 a guy about making me a custom exhaust.  said he can have it done by dis thursday. can't wait 2 put it on. it will have a 2 1/2 in pipe wit different mufflers. i will post pics asap.

dis is rite before it got to 100k miles n still running STRONG

 update- just installed a flip down tv. looks nice at nite. i will post the exhaust pics n dis as soon as i can.  i am gonna make it all show n no go.

11-24-08 all rite people. i am finally posting pics of my custom exhaust. i think it gave it a little bit of horsepower in higher rpm's. n it has a real deep sound 2 it. NICE!!!

12-02-08 took out the 9500s. it was weighing my car down a lot. i am gonna sell dem and get DC headers and an INJEN cold air intake by next month or february...... after long consideration, neither is going on the car. just found out dat the timing belt needs 2 be changed or its gonna give me more problems later on. its a minor set back but hopefully will have the CAI and headers pretty soon.

1-11-09 i went to pick up a friend somewhere and didn't realize dat there was a ditch in front of me.

luckily nothing happened to it. man dat was a close one.

dis is my car at a car show. it WAS pretty clean. dis is also my buddies' tiburon. IT IS FREAKING NICE!!!!

 

 

2/24/09- i was bored and decided to take off the V6 GT badges. it gives it a cleaner look. i gotta get the TUSCANI badges though because i scraped off a little of the paaint when i took off the badges.

 

 

i don't like how there is two holes where the hyundai badge was at. oh well gotta wait on the TUSCANI badges.

4/04/09- just ordered mai tuscani emblems. hoperfully dey will b here dis week. will post pics asap. also ordered the 12K HID kit

4/07/09 just did the D.I.Y. clear corner headlight did the oven trick. shake dem and bake dem lol. the tibby was blind for 2 hrs.

4/08/09- yeah!!!!!! just got my HIDs n TUSCANI badges today. put dem rite away. first with the TUSCANI badges. i took off the TIBURON badge n i gotta say, it gives it a better look with just the tuscani badge.

 

onto the HIDs. they r da 12k n is a purplish color. NICE!!!!!!

   

   

 

the HIDs were pretty easy to install, but being my first time it took me a while. VERY NICE TOUCH. this is the ballast n bulbs.

 

4/14/09- just bought a cleaning kit for da headlights. i thought i messed up but it turned out pretty good. better to do it urself then pay for it.

 

      

i did not get EVERYTHING on da headlights, but i tried n dats wat counts lol. and now with tha HIDs

   

o4/18/09- took off the third light from the spoiler. it rattles too much with the bass. wat should i put there?????

 

4/22/09- took sum pics of the HIDs at nite. sorry for the quality.

 

 

 

5/02/09- just ordered a relay harness for my HIDs to be on da safe side. also bought a HID kit for mai fog lights. does anybody no if these r a pain to install???

5/08/09- just recieved my HID foglights n relay harness. it was a pretty easy install considering i put the foglight ballast on top of the low beam ballast. i will sort it out later on but for now SWEET HIDs.

5/9/09- i was on my way to work last night and got pulled over. the cops said it was because of my HIDs. they r illegal in the state of Georgia. Only colors allowed r clear white or yellow. No other colors. i am gonna check if they really r illegal. if they r it's time blind people with sum hyper white hids lol

5/18/09- i decided to sand down my gas cap since it was chipped real bad. it took me and my friend a while to do dis since it was our first time. i think it actually came out looking pretty good. next on my agenda is to redo my headlights black

 

   

   

 

5/19/09- just painted my headlights with the help of mai friend josh. it took a while to do because of the baking process, waiting for the paint to fully dry up, and puttin everything back. while doing all dis i also received my 4500k HIDs. these bulbs R A LOT brighter then the 12000k.

6/2/09- i had installed my 4500k HIDs the day dat me n my friend painted mai headlights. just got around to takin pics on my bro's phone since i don't no how to take off the flash on my mom's camera.

 in dis pic it looks like 8500k HIDs lol

 n dis is with mai foglights. dey r pretty bright at nite.

in one of these pics u can tell mai car almost has 109k miles. it still runs pretty good. for a hyundai it is a pretty dependable car. SWEET!!!!!!

6/9/09- jst painted mai taillights. they turned out pretty good. i messed up a little but its no biggie

6/16/09- i am currently painting my rear bottom bumper. its taking me more than i thought...... damn i hate sanding it down...

6/17/09- i am now uploading da finished product from yesterday. i got too lazy yesterday cause it took us all day long n we helped a buddy of mine install his neon lights on a neon. btw it looks sweet

 

 

6/26/09- talked to a shop about getting mai windows tinted. i am gonna get the the two little ones n the bak one done for rite now. i will do it tomorrow so will post pics. lol also gonna paint mai calipers red. dat will be done hopefully dis coming week

6/27/09- well got mai windows tinted. it took friggin forever but they got it done. i think i am gonna leave the door windows alone for now

7/12/09- i am almost to da point where i don't need to do much on the exterior. da only things dat i might do r change the front bumper to an '05, paint sum aggressive eyelines on the headlights, and change the hids. i am gonna start on the engine little by little. it ain't gonna b anything major as the tibby is gonna stay N/A. hopefully i am gonna order a FUJITA CAI by tomorrow. my second performance mod yay. i hope da mod bug won't bite lol. as soon as i get the CAI i will update it

7/17/09- just mai luck. just as i had ordered a FUJITA CAI, they told me dey were out of stock. i decided to buy sum spray paint to do mai headlights. i am trying to give it dat aggressive look. i hope it turns out good

 

 

 

 

i messed up a little because it has a couple of little cracks on the passenger headlight. it looks better den before and it has an aggresseve look to it too

i ordered a CAI from ebay today. its not a name brand but i am kind of hoping it will do da job. will post pics wen it arrives

7/27/09- decided to take out mai bak seats from da tibby to have less weight. i will get sum wood and carpet and cover up all the ugly gap dat is left. to mai luck the CAI was out of stock again

 

 

its been a while since i have updated my page. i recently lost my license due 2 speeding hehe. the last mod dat i did 2 da tibby was add da ark antenna. it looks a lot better. i was gonna end up giving my brother da tibby as a graduation present but i decided 2 make it earlier jeje.

the first thing dat he decided 2 do was change da cd player. it really does make a difference.

he was planning on buying aftermarket tweeters n he went wit HYPNOTIC tweeters. these things r huge, already come wit crossovers, n r freaking LOUD!!

 

the next thing he added was LED under the steering wheel n under the glove compartment. they r red n looks factory

 

da last thing he added was a little bit more bass. its a bazooka woofer wit a 700 watt THUMP amplifier. weird lookin bazooka huh

11/3/09- i was out wit my buddies n we were bored. we decided to take off da hoods off da car just for da heck of it. i no we dey don't have highly modified engines nor da tibby but like i said we just did it for fun. u can actually hear da turbo spool on da volvo. n da sound it makes after da pressure
