Ok folks, I know it's been a LONG time and a LOT has changed. If you didn't notice the above statement, I need to sell the car. Sadly, I can't deliver it anywhere. Please message me with questions or offers. This is no joke and this isn't the only place it's posted. I have poured all my love into this car and taken care of it the best I could. And please, only serious offers.
And again, I LOVE THIS CAR!!!
I love it when the speedometer goes to 180 mph, but every piece of info I can find on the 2007 GTI says the top speed is only 130 mph (with gov). Now, why put a gov. in a car set to 100 mph+? It's bloody fast enough it makes no sense to put a gov in the damn thing. Ok, so that whole bit with the Del Sol never happened. Apparently the car got sold so I had to find someone else to race against. I believe it was a Ford Probe with a V-6 engine with a cold air intake and aftermarket exhaust of some sort. Well, I blew it out of the water at 120+ mph. It was somewhere between 120 and 125, I'm not entirely sure because I was watching the road not my speedometer. True VW and GTI fans will enjoy this. Try it out and see how well do you know your fast?
I traded my 2006 Jeep Wrangler "Crawl" in for this new 2007 Fahrenheit GTI. Sad, but true. Gas mileage is a necessity. 2.0L Turbo 200 HP 4-cylinder. It's a blast.
**UPDATE**
I don't have pictures loaded up yet and I don't quite feel like rethinking and retyping the beginning bit, so I'm just posting this in quick. After what seemed like an eternity in Maine and a year in the snow and ice of Nebraska, my car wasn't looking too good. TONS (in my opinion) of body damage, all minor-ish, made me really REALLY want that new paint job. Well, after getting to Norfolk, I managed to find a decent little place to repaint my car and fix all the chips and dents and other nasties my car had acquired. All for right around $720. Now, the paint job isn't perfect but for what I paid to get the damage fixed and new paint, I totally think it's worth it.
There ya go. Pictures later. Promise.

Nice, isn't it??

This is one way I would love to have my car look. I am planning on getting the black rims like this one has. Looks freakin sweet.

Look Mom, new wheels!!!

TAA DAA!!!
