Well, i have always wanted a older chevy 4x4. I needed a winter beater for this winter, and since i live pretty close to my work now i didn't have to worry about driving a gas guzzler. So i started my search on craigslist and ebay in tenessee or somewhere i could find a fairly rust-free truck.
I wanted to lift it and do a few things to it, so when i came across this truck fairly cheap with a newer lift kit and a rebuilt drivetrain, i jumped on it.
Obviously had a few body issues, but for the price (and seeing as it is just a winter beater)I couldn't pass it up. But the wife wouldn't be seen in it. So i bought a gallon of blue tremclad and some rollers. I ordered some bushwacker fender flares to take care of the rust issue on the box. The wheels were shot and tires were crap, so i ordered up some procomp steel wheels and got some bfg mudterrain t/a's mounted up.

Looks alot better now. Of course once i started driving it, noticed a little rod knock. It's got a little more power than i want for a winter beater anyways, so it's coming out for a stock rebuild that has been looking for a home for awhile.
