On November 25th 2007 I realized what a true glutton for punishment I've become. I bought this 1993 Probe GT that I'm going to fix up into a thing of beauty. I'm going to convert it from the 4EAT auto transmission to a 5-speed gearbox, detail the entire car top to bottom, front to back and add some nice cosmetic touches.

The car has 170,xxx kms on it and is in remarkably great shape. The leather interior is worn on the driver's left lumbar bolster (very typical on Probes), but apart from that it is perfect inside. She has a couple of the usual older car problems but those will all be rectified immediately.
*Update Dec.1,2007*
My son wants this car so it will be in his garage and not mine. The car received fresh fluids, filters and gaskets throughout this past week, with all the work being done by Kurtis and myself. Now there are no more oil drips coming from the car. The deeper we delve into this car the more impressed I am by the condition of it.
BCPOC winter meet, Dec 2007
Here are some shots from the BCPOC winter meet we had. There were 19 Probes/MX-6s, but only a few of my shots turned out. I suck at night photography and know it. :P

Update Jan.14,2008
We now have all of the parts needed for the 5-speed swap. Everything is being detailed, painted and polished prior to installation, so the end result should be a very nice car.
Here are a couple of shots of the manual transmission that is going in.

Nice Update Mar.15,2008
My son wants to put all his efforts into his turbo civic so I get this car back on Thursday. I'm so pumped. I spent the day prepping up a ton of parts in anticipation of getting her into my garage. The windshield cowl and all the wipers arms have been repainted with flat black bumper paint. They look brand new. I wasn't happy with how some of the engine bay parts looked so I gave them a makeover that would go better in a sporty red car. The clutch master and slave were painted gold with a red Metalcast faux anodized finish. I did the same to the centre band on the starter, the VAF bracket and some other brackets and pieces. It should look nice once the swap is done.
