This is my 4th vehicle that I have posted on CarDomain (feel free to check out the other vehicles 2002 Ford Focus ZX3, 2003 Nissan Sentra GXE & 1981 Cadillac Eldorado). My Eldorado died so my search for a replacement began being that I didn't want to invest in fixing it plus it was a gas guzzler with it's huge 6.0 liter engine. During my search I hoped to find something more gas friendly and found this little 4 banger for $500. Since I was 19 have been interested in owning a Celebrity and finally after 8 years have one. A friend who was a mechanic at a repair shop I use to work at had one and loved its comfortable and smooth ride. Plus I have heard these cars last forever if taken care of. I was so tempted of buying my friend's but never had the chance to. But I own one now so that's what matters. I am planning to use it as a daily driver for now so don't have big plans for her. For the time being I have replaced the battery, replaced the positive battery cable being that the original had corrosion, changed the oil with a high mileage synthetic and currently in the process of upgrading the radio. Other than that I would like to buff the faded paint to make it look a little better (being that as we all know, GM paints from the 80's were of poor quality), replace the shocks/struts, install a free flowing muffler with a chrome tip and swap out the stock wheels for wire wheels with whitewall tires some time in the future.
