I purchased my 300zx in October of 2007 for 1,300 dollars.
I saw it sitting at an auto shop right down from the road from an '84 turbo that I had looked at a few months earlier. I stopped and looked at the car and found out that it was a 1986 non-turbo with about 198,000 miles on it. After a very in-depth inspection, I found that there was 0 rust on the car, even on the chassis. The owner gave me window sticker and receipt for the original purchase, which included underbody coating. He, the second owner, had purchased the car in 1992 and had the underbody re-coated.
