Here are some images of a past Expo project of a 1977 Celica bought in a barn accross from the school for $100. The entire car was rebuilt by custom fabrication of the lower third of the body which was consumed with rust. All nameplates were removed and Shelby scoops added to the rear quarters. The entire interior was repaired and dyed black and the ruined front seats replaced with racing units with 5 point belts added. The engine got a valve job and all mechanics ( brakes, steering, suspension, etc.) were restored by my Auto classes. About $2500 was spent on this project and sometimes at car shows it it identified by novices as a "cool" Shelby.
