Unfortunately, the executives at Chrysler Corporation decided in 1972 to give the Chrysler New Yorker Brougham the rear taillight and bumper design originally for the Imperial...the traditional full-length taillights in the bumper. Imperial recieved the New Yorker's planned rear end design, the one you see here.
