Well, I finally got some new parts for my car. I ordered all these parts from Summit Racing and was suprised to get all of them since a few of them I have heard were hard to get but I got them all.

The parts that are shown are the GTS blackouts which was one that I thought I wouldn't get. The autometer 3 gauge a-pillar pod for hard top firebird, the other one I thought I wouldn't get. A Autometer Cobalt series air/fuel ratio gauge. A Summit voltmeter gauge. A JET fan switch. A new covered toggle switch. And the one thing that is not shown in the picture because I installed it before I took these pics is the JET air foil for my throttle body.

Here is a closer look at everything but the blackouts.

First thing I started with was getting the a-pillar out of my car and marked up where the gauge pod would sit. It wasn't that hard since the contours of the pod match the a-pillar perfectly. Here it is marked up and I already drilled the mounting holes for the pod.

And here is the bottom

Here you can see that I also drilled the holes in the pillar so I could run the wires through the pillar when I am ready to mount the pod.

Here it is after I got the gauges mounted in the pod. They are easy to mount since they slide right in and fit nice and snug in the pod. I put the air/fuel gague at the bottom and the voltmeter at the top. Not sure what to put in the middle one yet. Maybe a fuel pressure gauge or something like that.

Here are the wires running through the factory pillar

Here is the pod mounted to the factory pillar. There are press fit plugs that fit through pod and the factory pillar that holds the pod to the pillar. I think it looks awesome on the pillar.

Here are a couple pics of it mounted in the car. They are not the best. I will take more in the daytime.

Here it is turned on

This pic isn't the best but it shows my guages and how they match the cobalt series.

These next pics are of the blackouts. I was getting dark so they aren't the best. I will have better pics when there is more daylight out. I installed the outer blackoust but not the center piece yet. I didn't like how it was to be mounted because it kept falling off. There was these plastic groves at the ends of the outer pieces that the center piece fits into and the center piece kept coming out of the groves evertime I tried to get the blackouts to lay flat so I took the groves off and just mounted the outer pieces for now. I will probably get some velcro to fit the center piece on the car and find some way to cover the space between the blackouts.

Here is pic without the flash. Not the best pic.

Here is one with the flash and you can see the tail lights undernieth the blackouts.

Here is the car with the lights on so you can clearly see the tail lights with the blackouts on.

This is all I have for now. I may get some pics of the air foil in the car but other than that and the pics during the day that is all I have to add for now.

Here is a couple more pics that I took during the day. Just wish there was more sunlight to brighten things up.

Here is from the drivers side.

I really like the looks of the blacked out taillights.
