I was looking at my engine bay one day and decided to start to clean it up a bit. It has a lot of dust and dirt on it and really needs to be cleaned. Here are a couple pics of what it looked like before I started.

It doesn't look to bad but I wanted it to look better. What I started off doing was using some Black Magic cleaner on some of the metal parts to bring the shine back and clean off some of the dust. You can't really tell that they are much cleaner since the pics I took were after I cleaned up the mounting botls on the strut towers with the dremel to get some of the rust off and the dust from that is on the towers.

I also decided to change out some of the wire loom that was in the car. I chose blue for the new color. I went to Wal-Mart and bought 18 feet of 3/8 inch wire loom and that wasn't nearly enough. Here are the pics of what I have done so far.

This is the drivers side with the new loom. You can see the rust dust on the strut tower in these pics.

I have ordered more wire loom from summit that I am still waiting on to finish up the engine bay.

One other add on part that I put in was just something I found on ebay and decided to put it in.

I found a new battery post terminal made by Stinger with a digitl readout to tell me the voltage on the battery.

It is just a cheap one from efx that I put on and decided to put it on the negative battery post since I got the new one.

The new one has its own ground that needs to be hooked up so the digital readout will work.

Here is what it looks like once I got it put on.

Here is what they both look like on the battery. I know the battery needs to be cleaned up but I wanted to get it put on so I didn't worry about cleaning up the battery just yet. You can see about where my voltage level is with the car turned off.

And this is where it is at with the car running, with both sets of fog lights on and the front scanner working.

Once the voltage level levels out, the digital readout will turn itself off so it doesn't drain the battery and it will turn back on when there is a sudden change in the voltage. I like this little add on piece and it is really bright. There is 2 little screws on the back side of it that holds the digital readout part inside the casing. I am thinking about getting another one and taking the digital readout part out of it and mounting it in my center console. That will be a project for another day.
