Hi, This is my 1995 volkswagen golf III GL when I first bought it.
The very first mod to my golf was to toss out the old 14'' steelies for a brand new set of 17" Konig Unknown's with Kumho Excsta 215/40-17's. While the wheels were off anyway i went ahead and painted the front calipers red.
Next thing was to improve the handling performance of my golf by way of coilovers to lower the car 3" all the way around. I also relocated the front license plate to behind the lower driver's side bumper
After the exterior was lookin better it was time for the interior, I installed an alpine CD deck with bluetooth, ipod connection, and satellite radio.
When I purchased my VDUB, one of the problems was a broken sunroof track, they had taken white duct tape to hold it down, but after hours of scrubbing, I got it all off and installed the new sunroof assembly.
While the interior was all out I went ahead and changed the upper portion of the interior from tan to black so that the entire interior matches in all black.
These pics also show the subwoofer enclosure which is the largest that will fit yet still allow room for the rear seat and the fabric cover above it.
