Ok, here is the newest addittion to the family... a 1983 Porsche 944. I nicknamed her Paris, because she is costing me a small fortune and being a complete whore and bitch to work on!

Hopefully it will all pay off....

So the car has a little bit of a tale behind all the work that lies ahead... It originally belonged to my parents... who destryed third gear on a trip to the keys and decided to just hand the vehicle over to my brother... The car was sent to a company down in Fort Lauderdale who rebuild the tranny's and also do the Porsche 944 Corvetted Engine/Tranny swap. They decide to keep the car during our last major hurricane to keep it safer than it would be sitting in our driveway..... and the buildings garage bay collapses on it!!! So the windows are shattered and the top is gouged and banged up, along with the hood, fender, etc.... They repair the missing glass ( with no tint ) but that's it... a deduction on the cost of the tranny only. My brother is told it needs a clutch, but decides to not replace it and drives it for TWO YEARS on the exploded clutch!!! AHHHH!!!!!! The car is also involved in a hit and run a few months later that results in a smashed in Drivers Fender. To top it all off, my brother rear-ends a PT cruiser and smashes in the bumper and Begining portion of the hood.... joy. So this is how I get the car, he dumps the idea of fixing it and buys a supercharged Ford Explorer all bagged and decked out and gives me the Porsche. So the work has begun!!! I have replaced the clutch, some engine parts, cooling system parts, had the car re-tinted and polished, The interior has been updated with racing seats, steering wheel, gauges, etc. It's gonna be sweet if it doesn't break me along the way!
