New Sound System - Work In Progress
On December 28th I bought two Pioneer TS-A6972R 6"x9" 3-way rear speakers at Canadian Tire. They were on sale for $84.99/pair, instead of the normal $99.99/pair so I grabbed them. I still haven't had a chance to install them but I plan on it soon. For now, here are a few pictures that I took of one of the speakers. These things are gonna be LOUD once I get them in the back of my car.

Speakers are now installed and acting as subs since they came with one tab on the back and the stock speakers use a two tab system. I had to decide whether I wanted to use the highs of the speaker or the lows and I ended up choosing the lows. I did so because the dash and door speakers are only highs so if I chose highs for the rear speakers there would be no lows in the entire car. I chose lows so it is a bit more even. Now I have my dash and door speakers being highs and the rears being lows, it is a pretty even sound.
So on January 6th I saved up some money and got two Pioneer TS-A4672R 4x6" 3-way door speakers at Best Buy for $81.99 for the pair. I had to go to two different Best Buy's because that isn't a common size for car speakers so only the store at Warden/Eglinton in Scarborough had them and they only had a single pair left. I'm going to hook them up in the doors to get better mids, hopefully making up for the ones I lost when I made my rear speakers bass only.
