Additives Used

STP Octane Booster(combined w/ full tank of Sunoco 94 Octane)

TurboSixin's 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

- The car ran amazing for the duration of the tank and the difference was felt instantly. Performance was greatly improved in many ways. I even chirped the tires at a few lights and its pick up was improved significantly. About a week later once the tank was used up, I went back to regular 87 octane and the car went back to running like normal. Even though the results were short term, when I got the car it had some hesitation problems and those were resolved once I used the STP Octane Booster and 94 Octane gasoline. The car no longer stumbles when I accelerate hard and it has been a month since I used it. The performance gains that I got from it only lasted the duration of the tank though.

Restore Engine Lubricant 6 Cylinder Formula

TurboSixin's 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

- I put the Restore Engine Lubricant in my engine's oil 750 miles ago and have noticed absolutely zero difference. The car's performance is more or less the same it was before using Restore, the car idles exactly the same as it did before using Restore and I have noticed no improvement in gas mileage or any other benefits they have claimed. They claim the biggest benefit to using is gains in cylinder compression, but I have no way of measuring compression so I couldn't honestly say. Seeing as Restore didn't do the dozen other things they claimed it would, I'm going to use logic and deduce that it didn't improve my compression either. If I kept the receipt I could take them up on the satisfaction guarantee and get my money back.

Red Line Water Wetter

TurboSixin's 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

- I poured the bottle of Water Wetter into my radiator and the difference was immediate. For the past few weeks my car had began to run a bit more hot than normal so I topped up the antifreeze and added Water Wetter into the resevoir. The car ran significantly smoother instantly and the water temperature gauge read noticeably lower than before I used it. The biggest difference was really in how much quieter and smoother my engine became. After driving it for a few hours non-stop the water temp was lower than it used to be after half an hour of driving. It really evened out the antifreeze and improved the heat transfer of the water in the radiator, making the car drive better than before. I have only had the water wetter in my car for 100km but so far the difference has been immense.

Hey neato! I like the tinting. That was one of my original ideas too but I never got around to doing it. Not to sure how I feel about the trunk rack being gone though. There are a few of these cars in town (about 10 actualy and it's a small town lol) and I think without the trunk rack the rear end looks a little too sloped downward, but also looks much smoother.
How big of a difference did you notice on the highway with those HID bulbs?? I've thought about them but not sure what to expect cause the car's not made for the real ones.

Oh hey thanks for the tip. I've been told to get the thermostat checked but I don't know just how they work. Everyone sdaid "if your car's to cold then change it but since it's overheating, then I don't know" lol.

LOL yeah. When I go to Tim's I set the cup ahead of my shifter, over the international logo, and then I rest my wrist on top of the shifter and hold the cup with the tips of my fingers. lol. Hey here's a question, how well does your heater work? Mine really sucks. It gets hot but the air just doesn't come out very far. When I have it set on the dash I can feel the heat only 2 inches in front of the vent, literally. I checked all relays and fuses and such thinking it was the blower but they all seem fine. Also my temp guage doesn't get very high. When it's only like -10C out it never actually rises wehich is weird. YET!, now get this, if I leave the car idling then after about 15mins the car will overheat and stall. WTF?!?! No yet and yet too much. I don'e get it. Experiencing anything similar?
