The two pictures below were taken in the Spring of 2002 right after I completely rebuilt the suspension. All parts I removed from the suspension were the factory parts including the shocks and upper and lower ball joints. This is a low mileage car with which only had 35,000 miles on it when I purchased it. I replaced all the suspension parts with original or the same as original parts. With the long wheel base of the First Generation Monte Carlo it drove and rode like a dream. Also with the longer wheel base the handling could not be beat and this is why many race car drivers of that era used the Monte Carlo.
In the next two pictures you will also notice he front and rear bumper guard option. This was not a rare option but it was a very popular one.
