Hey it is hard to really say which would be better 3" would be better for more top-end but 2.5" would help keep A little more tourg for bottom end with turboed cars it is kind of hard to go to big with in reason. how big of turbo do you plan on going with when you up grade? that should make the decision for you if going any bigger than A ko4 hybrid than you would see more hp going 3" but can you handle the noise I have A 3" down pipe but 2.5" from down pipe back and I saw a big difference between a strait flow muffler and the chambered muffler ( a major loss in bottom end with the strait flow but more top end ) then I tried the chambered and lost some top but gained A lot of bottom .How often when you race is it over 100 mph? I rarely on the average day find some one willing to over 100 mph on the street race so what did I need all of the top end for Don't know if this helps any and the debait could go on all day and I'm babbling so L8ter
