This is my daily driver! It is driven around town and on trips 4 to 5 hours from home. When building the turbo system I was careful to design it and cover all details so the engine would remain reliable.Engine started as a 2.8L V6 with a VarajetII carb. This was repalced with a MPFI fuel injection system from a junk car. Then the crank and pistons were replaced with 3.1 crank and .060 overbore pistons. This gives 3.2 liters. After that came the turbo and intercooler. This car has so much torque it will change lanes by its self and go zero to 60 in under 6 seconds! The turbo exhaust and charge air pipework are custom built by me. This is not a turbo kit and the turbo was not made especially for this car. It is an off-the-shelf Turbonetics item. The system is something I designed and built using salvaged and stock replacement parts for different vehicles and industrial engines.Transmission is a modified THM 440T4 4-speed automatic. The final drive and chain ratios have been adjusted to take advantage of the engine's power. It has a console shift which you don't see often in A-body cars. Options also include power windows, locks, seats, cruise, tilt column, 3-spoke steering wheel, (originally) leather seats now vinyl, radio with EQ, and blue trim lights between the doors. The car had "T-Type" emblems when I got it but not sure it was originally a T-Type. I still have the emblems and will put them on after it is restored.Mods include power inverter, oversize alternator, 100 watt high-beam lights, foglights, filled-in trunk lock (keyless release only), keyless entry, automatic headlights, and of course turbocharger and supporting systems. I have a set of Buick Century steel "rally style" wheels yet to be installed.
