As you can see, I have a black '92 Pontiac Bonneville SE. SE stands for "Sled Edition" because as we all know the car's a sled. If you are unfamiliar with the term, let me educate: it's a slow POS. Right now I am a poor college student with no money to buy a nice fast LS1, so I am stuck with this, running 16 second quarters and racing Honda Civics. Well enough of my whining, it's actually a cool car, here's the stereo stuff I have in it:

The head unit is a Panasonic DPX-105, which is an excellent head unit, if a bit old.

Front 4x6s are Pioneer TS-P462s. They're plate speakers: a 4" and a tweeter. Rockford Fosgate 120a2 powers 'em, 30W RMS/channel, HP crossover @ 120hz. No bass, but they do do the highs, which is what I need for setting a halfway decent soundstage.

Back 6x9s are Polk dx9 3-ways, Polk dx's are some of the best speakers I have ever heard. They're powered by a Pioneer GM-X552, which pushes a nice 50W RMS/channel, and these puppies almost don't need a sub backing them up. But since I'm a sq freak, I've gotta have one...

My sub: Infinity Perfect 12 in a sealed box. Rockford Fosgate 250a2 bridged powering it, LP crossover set at 80hz. The gain's set low; I'm aiming for SQ, not blasting my eardrums out. It won't win any SPL comps anytime soon.

Heres' a picture of the main powercable, which is Stinger 4-guage. I couldn't find a place to put it through the firewall, so it went through the door. It actually works well that way.

My huge trunk.

This picture is old, before I got my Pioneer amp up and running. Just my two RF amps, 1 farad cap, Stinger distribution block, and Kappa Perfect 12.1. It's a little messy right at the moment.

The Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 in a sealed box. Plays all the way down to 18hz. This sub is good. Real good.

The cabin. You can see my Whistler 1660, "grandma"-style column shifter and Panasonic DPX-105 head unit. BTW, the Whistler 1660 is a POS. Speaker broke after about 6 months + I got a ticket once while using it (poor range). I have an Escort Passport 8500 now, awesome detector, no tickets :)

A closer shot of the head unit. Little blur, I haven't gotten used to the digital camara yet.

The front of my car. Some other dude said it looked like a snake. You decide.

Thanks for looking at my page. Please sign the guestbook. Thanks.
