trubinator13's 1986 Toyota Suprahere is my toyota supra 86.5 non turbo i bout this intending to paint it which should be happening this winter i intend on putting a 7mgte motor in but definately am going to need some help along the way so any suggerstions would be very helpful

body and paint work

well my first thing i decided to do was to get rid of this hidious paint can paint job the moron before me did to it. i stripped it down and tryed creating my garage into a paint booth. next i purchased all my primers paint and clear, i got a high performance white for the color nothing to crazy. it came out decent  for doing it in my garage

NOT TO BAD for my first ever paint job

7mgte motor

well after i got my car done the motor blew 5 days later. so i saved my money up and this last summer i purchased a rebuilt 7mgte block and head with mhg and arp head bolts and jropped it in my car. so it was still a non turbo but it was a 7mgte block and head basically what it amounts to is it was turbo ready and it was slow as fuck because of the lower compression ratio on a turbo motor. along with this motor i replaced all gaskets put a new oil pump in and also put a stage1 south bend clutch in which by the way they suck dont buy one and the company gave me the wrong clutch to begin with.

Now my current project turning my non turbo into a turbo

Well let me just say this by far the biggest pain in the ass, if your going to get a supra just buy one thats already a turbo dont do what i did. If you are going to do it do what i did try to buy a junk supra turbo but make sure it still has good parts on it because i saved alot of money, i purchased a 87 supra turbo for 750 it ran i drove it home and hopefully i can figure out how to up load the video of it but my plan was to swap everything over to my 86.5 supra i did not know what i was in for though they are 2 very different cars despite what people say and if you dont know what your doing this can be a painful process.

turbo was shot it worked but it was not worth putting  in my car so i purchased a used one off ebay for 180 and its actually pretty nice the new one is on the car on the right ^

does it crank at all? or crank and almost start? u should check the connectors for corrosion. i know it sounds stupid but that kept my car parked for 2weeks after doing the head gasket lol
