My 1990 Nissan Bluebird LX all nice and shiney. This car is still in a basic form but I'm looking to modify it a little bit. As it is only a 1600cc engine it is pretty slow but for its age it is UBER fast haha, it's been well looked after through its lifetime.
Though not many people dare to drive an old car to its limit I wanted to test its power so i found a clear stretch of motorway and got 115mph out of it untill the engine began to rev higher an went no ur not avin any more.. as the clutch is slipping slightly. I think if a new clutch were to be installed this car would go alot faster. 0-60 in just under 10 seconds :P
I have a huge exhaust fitted to it, which sounds really cool =D
Though i cant put big alloy wheels on it as my insurance wont let me =[
So instead I improvised by taking off the hubcaps as they were scratched to shit anyway and sprayed the wheels satin black and painted the nuts white. Images uploaded soon.
The current problem I have is that whoever owned it last painted both of the side wings and will not shine up, also the bumpers have been painted black and are flaking off! OH THE HORROR! =/
I've been looking into restoring this car as much as possible with the avaidable funds i have. I'm looking for a rear boot spoiler like the old ZX Turbo models used to have. So if anyone knows where I can get one PLEASE CONTACT ME!!
LMAO This was my old 1989 Bluebird LX which was a shed to begin with so I and my friend Jimmy decided to turn it into one of those vintage student type cars.. It had huge dents all over it an skating logos, spray paint! The offside headlight was smashed in due to a crash i had ( I tried slowing down in the rain an the break wen O AM NOT WORKIN!! n crashed right into the back of a fiat punto that had to be wrote off =S) which i covered up with a clear perspex sheet that had an ATARI logo on it :P Luckily after the crunching sound there was no shattering of glass sound followed by an OH MY GOD IM DYING sound otherwise i wud have got my licence taken away an drempt on about driving for the next 30 years!!
Plus all of the front of the car was pushed in and the grill was helf on by cable tidys, the bumper had split in two which i drilled back into place and was held on by screws and nails... The backdoor had a mazzive dent in it, the front and rear electric windows diddnt work and everything rattled on it! (why i decided to buy my current bluebird because there was no way it would ever pass an MOT) and they just keep on going, so i wanted to look after this one + i have a load of spare parts for my new one as well. =D
Teh badass Murdock himself :P
