groove83’s Pontiac GTO
“RIP dad”

    • Currently 3.4/5 Stars.

This was my dads GTO. my father passed away on 11/09/07 after a fight with cancer. one thing my dad did teach me when I was 12/13 was to appreciate cars. I spend alot of my time these days working on them (most of my jobs though my life I have worked on them, so I do spend MOST of my times with them.)now, 11 years later, I have learned to enjoy the time I get to work on them, and also not to beat on them so much, cause they tend to break down, lol.

The cars above are a 65 Ford Mustang (6 cylinder auto, nice driver) and a 68 Chrysler New Yorker (440 auto, hauls balls, lol.)

/\ the car above is a 67 Pontiac Bonneville Limo. from what I was told, in 67, a company bought about 50 of these cars, cut them in half, and added about 4 feet to the middle, with the 4 feet, they also added a 2nd row of back seats. I was told they were used for high end clients going to and from the hotel/airport and used to take them around.

I'm sure your Dad must be very proud about what you did. Posting his heirloom to you here in cardomain. I know you'll take good care of that beautiful rare GTO the way he did. His memory will live in that car. My condolences to your loss and hope everything's fine with you there. Do post more pictures of it and let me know. God bless you and your family.
