1986 Isuzu Pup Diesel -Modified-

This is my truck. It is a 1986 Isuzu Pup diesel. I have added a few of my own modifications. The bed and the stacks are what really sets this thing off. Many people have put stacks on their trucks but, these are built in between the cab and the bed, not poked through the floor of the bed. I use the bed so stacks through the floor would have got in the way ans risked damage to the stacks. The interior has been completely redone. The seat was rebuilt with custom vinyl, carpet was put in and I just lately installed a sweet sound system. The head unit is Pioneer with 6 1/2" Pioneer speakers. It has two 8" Kicker subs powered by an Orion amp and 2 Pioneer tweets behind the seat in boxes I custom made. There is also two 6.5" Pyramid subs back there for now until I get around to upgrading them. Plenty of stereo for that little cab.

A big thanks to IsuzuPup.com for all their sup port!

This is one of the main reasons for the flatbed. Hauling my two fourwheelers. I don't know many who can haul two fourwheelers on their truck. I don't know anyone who can get 32 MPG.It also handles the weight well too; it just squats the back enough to touch the helper springs.

This is my Pup. The pictures don't really do it justice. You'd have to hear this thing to get the right effect. Scroll on down and check out my 2 videos. It's better still when you're standing right next to it.

Nice truck, I'd give my left lug-nut for an efficient Izuzu diesel engine for my '88 Trooper, come check out my pics and vids.

Isuzu made the C223 (my engine) from 1981-1987. Chevy rebadged the Isuzu Pup in 1981-1982 for the Luv. Now, Isuzu STILL makes diesel engines for mini pickups overseas. A popular thing right now, is buying a gasser Pup/Luv and transplanting the 4JB1-T in it. It's a 3.1 instead of the 2.2. Good engine. Twice the hp and torque. Those are also a bolt-in into the 1988 and later Pickups. In fact, that engine came in the 1988 and later Isuzu Pickups overseas.
