In 2005 my nephew contacted about a fabulous find in Elizabethton, TN. He went to the Bank and they said "this is a used car over 20 years old. We can only loan 1800.00 for it. They were asking 3800.00 for it (A STEAL!). So I quickly snagged it. Chevy High Performance recently published a 2 page feature of a 1984 Monte, it looks like mine. I was stoked. When my friends and I go to Car Shows we get asked one funny question. What year is your Monte? 2007 I installed a 411 POSI. Can you see the new additions? LOL. 2009 added a 700r4 & Chrome B&M Shifter.I was pumping gas, a man walked up and offered me 9,000.00 for my car! I feel good about my investment. This was the first SS produced in over 12 years. Only 4000 plus were even produced. These cars are High on the "could be" stolen list. The price for my car now? $13,800.00 FIRM.

I've had my Monte for 10 years now. It's been through hell and back (page 3). It would be hard to part from it. No matter what the cost.
