This is my 1988 bluetop corolla GTS

This is what she looked like when I got her back in November 2001.
At first i hated it just cause it's a corolla (NOW I PREACH ROLLA). I mainly bought it cause of gas.

After the winter I decided to repaint the car because it was good to me over the winter and 50 000km so I figured Ill keep her. This was a fun project, the red interior made it difficult finding a colour. I wasnt gonna paint it red cause I hate just red, black was a NO NO cause black on cars sucks and I wasnt feeling white. Then I say a picture of a Ferrari 360 modena with silver and red interior I found it, but getting that specific colour silver wasnt easy. I did all the work at home by myself during free time.
It took a day to strip it( doors, bumers, windshield, everything off)
Close to 4 days for bodywork, 2 days prep time and a good day to paint her in Ferrari silver.
This is her freshly painted and put back together

Hi there. You have a very nice toyota. I have one of those too, so I've been looking for ideas for improve my car. Even when I've got another (a celica) I want to keep the corolla forever so, I wonder if you could give the name of the paint you used for your car which I think is great and you said, it fits perfectly the car interiors (I have the red interiors too). And may be you can give me please a tip for polishing the original aluminum wheels(you have those very shiny ), I want to keep the car original as I can.
Thanks a lot in advance
