My inspiration...

This is my 91 Firebird I just picked up as of 11/14/2007 with 140k miles... It has a 5 liter TBI V8 with the 5-Speed manual trans with the sport suspension and limited slip differential all factory. It's pretty beat up cosmetically at the moment, she was in an small fender bender that crunched the original hood, dented the front bumper cover, dented the driver's side fender, bent the top radiator support, and some how ed the rear bumper cover. The interior needs some restoration do to previous owner neglecting and "customizing" the car with audio "upgrades" they later tore out damaging it in the process.. but the car's fast, and fun to drive, so I feel it's worth the trouble..
In the frame shop as of 11/29/07 for repairs of the top radiator support and the front left frame rail end, both were bent up in a front end collision by the previous owner, $516 total from maaco, then over to aamco for the trans to have it inspected for damage and to adjust the clutch, for $94 bucks...so not bad.
The good front frame rail(right side):
The bad front frame rail(left side):

Slowly getting the car fixed, front end is back on with a hood, front bumper and rear bumper covers from a donor 92' firebird almost identical to my own(except the auto trans, mine has a stick shift). Here are some pics, doing the clutch master cylinder cause the old one craped out, working on it whenever the weather permits.
In the air shot.
The donor front bumper cover...
There's a hole in my floor!!
The shifter boot.
The T-5 sitting in the back of the Buick.
The bumper I need to work on, have a replacement for it in my closet, it's also from the donor 91' firebird I found at pick n pull.
How I'd like my car to look color and rims wise:

Not my car...mines the beat up one...still cool but not as cool as this one...

This is how the looks as of now...Got a functional cowl induction 1983 Trans Am hood with a bird pin striped on it and the original air cleaner assembly to match, and the proper steering wheel with airbag from a 92' firebird.. Bringing her that much closer to running good and looking proper.. still needs the clutch master and trans put back in.
Better profile with this hood.
here's the hood close up straight on.

The Firebird is almost finished now, just need to put back together and test out the clutch...
11/07/2008. Car is getting a mix of Heavy Duty cap and rotor kit and Taylor Thundervolt Spark Plug Wires and plug's, and a new Bosch O2 Sensor. Should help considering it runs like the plugs where never changed.
<br>
02/26/09 The Firebird is fully tuned with a lot of new stuff, shes running better than ever now, still needs a performancew clutch though, could only afford stock replacement... :( for now..

The Bird has been sold for the sum of 1700 bucks, it really hurts.. But at least I still have an F-Body. This was my first and only Stick Shift car. It was loved by every guy in my family. It will be missed..
This would be perfect...Camaro and firebird to feed my need for da speed...
[pictures used from other members of which I don't remember who they were, but I thought their cars looked bitchin' so yeah, lemme know if one of these are your's and I'll erase it if you'd like]
