Now, the Oem Car alarm can be cheaper if you get them offline, and not at the dealer, but you still have to code it to the car. You can do it yourself using programman or NCS expert (I did this myself.) BEWARE, some dealers will just activate the factory alarm and not the kit. To make sure they did it right, get inside the vehicle and shut the door, turn the alarm on and wait 15secs, then wave your hands around. If it goes off, you are good to go. Don't get ripped off by the man.
