JUST PICKED THIS ONE UP! RIGHT NOW IT HAS THE ORIGINAL 400 MOTOR BACKED WITH THE 400 TRANNY BUT ITS GONNA HAVE A LS2 CRATE ENGINE BACKED WITH A EITHER A BUILT TURBO 350 OR 400, I HEARD THE 400 TRANNY ROBS ALOT OF POWER, IS THIS TRUE???
IM ALSO DOING TUBULAR CONTROL ARMS IN THE FRONT WITH AIRRIDE TECHNOLOGIES AIRBAGS IN THE FRONT AND A CUSTOM SETUP IN THE BACK BUT NO AIRBAGS IN THE REAR. I HAVE ON ORDER A 9"MOSER REAR END WITH 4.10 GEARS AND EATON POSI WITH COMPLETE WILWOOD DISC BRAKES FOR THE FRONT AND REAR. THIS CAR IS GOING TO BE A SHOW WINNER WHEN I GET DONE WITH IT. THE COMPLETE RESTORATION IS GOING TO BE COMPLETED ALONG WITH A LOT OF CUSTOM TOUCHES.LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK SO FAR!!
RIGHT NOW I CAN BARELY DRIVE IT BECAUSE THE BRAKES ARE SHOT AND I ONLY HAVE LITERALLY HAVE ABOUT 1.25 INCHES OF GROUND CLEARENCE BECAUSE THE HEADERS ARE TO LONG.
THE PREVIOUS OWNER FLIPPED THE LEAFSPRINGS AND CUT THE FRONT SPRINGS AND IT SITS PRETTY LOW BUT AS I SAID IM GOING TO COMPLETELY REDUE THE SUSPENSION.
THE INTERIOR IS ABOUT 40% COMPLETE, IT HAS NEW FRONT AND REAR SEATS, NEW HEADLINER AND NEW PLASTIC PANELS AND NEW UPPER DOOR PANELS, I WANNA DO CUSTOM LOWER DOOR PANELS WITH FIBERGLASS AND SPEAKERS.
