To answer your question, I didnt convert from non-navi to Navi. I simply moved the HVAC Display in front of the shifter and installed a 7'' Touch screen monitor connected to a CARPC in the trunk.

I get a lot of nice thinks from this setup - Mp3, Videos clips, DVDs, USB plug, GPS, games, OBD2 and many more!!
