Adam-ThaRippla's 1982 Ford MustangWhat you are looking at is a 1982 Ford Mustang LX. As of right now I'm converting it to the 1987 model. So far I've put the '87 front and rear bumpers onAdam-ThaRippla's 1982 Ford Mustang, and installed the '87 taillights. (Yeah I know its 3 different colors, but not for long...)Adam-ThaRippla's 1982 Ford Mustang Anyone with suggestions or website addresses where I can get more stuff for it would be greatly appreciated

 (UPDATED: 9/17/08)

Well you guys, finally started making some progress in my restoration. I managed to get some 87 Qtr windows from ebay for little or nothing, (Shout out to 1gentl1, thanks for the info!)

Adam-ThaRippla's 1982 Ford Mustang At first I thought that it would be a long and difficult preocess but once we got the interior panels off, everything else was easy! They fit like a glove!

I had to take the rear seats out in order to get to the interior panelsAdam-ThaRippla's 1982 Ford Mustang

(UPDATED: 7/8/09  Sorry I took so long updating the progress)

Next, I began the process of changing the entire interior color from RED to BLACK. In order to do this, I had to basically gut the whole inside of the car

Nice work so far, nice part about the fox body mustangs is that you can make all the parts fit by drilling a hole here or there or moving a brkt or two. Even the doors can be changed from one another from 79 to 93. They are great cars to play with, have fun and keep up the good work.

I would get the 87+ 1/4 windows. If you're looking for any used (and new too I guess), check out www.corral.net There is a good classified section.

Hey bro, your mustang looks almost identical to the '88 hatchback I had...same color, same GT rear spoiler, and similar wheels. some of the best places Ive seen for mustang parts is latemodelrestoration.com , mustangsunlimited.com , cjponyparts.com , and yearone.com ... all of these have huge catalogs and are free, just go to their website and request them. keep snapping photos and keep me updated on your mods.
