Not cheap my friend, the exhaust work was easy, that cost about $790 for me, $590 + quality exhaust tips $200. Rear bumper was gone for about a week getting custom modified exhaust cutouts then it had to get an entire respray which was also done at a high quality panel shop, so i spent about $1700 all up.

Thanks for the comment on my old Merc, I too wish I had an S600! I drove a 95' S600 and was amazed at the features it had that even new cars today don't come with. Those are incredible machines.. I sold the Vette a few weeks ago, I'm hoping to get another Mercedes in the coming weeks or months. I'll take my time in finding a keeper. I'll keep you posted on what i get man. take care of the 560 and congrats for ownership. :)

I would seriously buy a euro 560, but they are as rare as a Dodge Viper in a snowstorm here in the US. But if I find a good 560 US spec I may convert it to euro spec if possible. The US spec 560/420 SEL have the ugliest headlights design. Anyway try the tip I told you, since you have a right hand drive you may have to move the shifter down and to the left depending on where the "B" gear is located. Good luck and see ya later, I gave ya 5 stars.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give you a good tip on how to start out fast since you say the first second is slow. These cars start in second gear to make the ride comfortable. That's why you get a delay because it is shifting from second to first. If you want to bypass that, simply move the shifter all the way down and to the right, then bring it back up to drive. This way you will start off in first gear and you'll definately notice a difference from a stop. Do it whenever you need to show someone up at a traffic light, lol. Let me know how it works out.
