This is Sally, my first car. She's a '90 Stang LX convertable with a EFI 2.3L 4cyl. automatic that I've saved and gave a new life to. I bought her for $800 with 128K miles on her and she'll go for many miles more. She's white with red interior. Sally is my daily driver that I love crusing in and driving to school in.

Previously, my poor Sally was damaged before I bought her. The original owner's wife took the car to work one day when the boss did not see the car and backed up into it with his big pick up truck. It broke the driver's side headlight and pushed the fender back a little. Not knowing that the car was hit, the wife went to get in and opened the door, pushing in the fender. So then when I bought Sally, I brought her home and took off the fender. At 8 am that morning, I went out with a hammer, touch up paint, and masking tape. Jacked Sally up, took the wheel off, inner fender off, then the fender, then the headlight. Took the hammer and bent the fender back as much as I could to what it should be. Then ordered a new pair of clear headlights to give my girl some pretty eyes (the pics above show a missing turnsignal on the driver's side, that's because I didn't have enough bolts to put it on lol). So now my car is given a life agian and is a car again.

I finally got my permit Jan. 18, 2008. So ever since, it's me and Sally. She's been through good and bad, I've thrown a bunch of $$$ into her, she's runnong even better, she and I have raced a Toyota Pruis (You've never heard anything until you've heard a Pruis rev...), and a lot of other things. I've learned many things about the world of automobiles from owning and driving this car. Now my little Sally is going to go through another formation! After being made fun of day to day of having only 84 hp, her life will be going from 2.3..to 5.0! I have just bought my parts car, an '89 stang lx 5.0 auto notchback, to do the swap. And the progress might be slow for the drivetrain swap due to the time/money I have, but beginning of summer, school ends June 5th, All Ford Nats. at Carlisle is the following weekend, June 6-8, the weekend after that, America's "heartbeat" will stop there, when my 5.0 will be unleashed...eat your heart out import bitches...

5.0 update, 6/18/08: went to the All Ford Nats. at Carlisle, and the 5.0 swap is coming slowly (because of $) but it still is coming along. At Carlisle I bought an A/C delete bracket (moves the power steering up to where the A/C would be), new urethane motor mounts, and a bbk 190 lph fuel pump. I could of bought a LOT more but wallet kinda got empty towards the end with the price of putting my '05 in the show, food, and shirts, etc. But Now I'm looking to get either exhaust or heads right now for the 5.0. I'll be dropping the tank soon to put the new fuel pump in!
5.0 update 7/26/08: FINALLY! Got my license! Took the test in my Sally, and passed with flying colors, and with expired registration! Took the girlfriend out with Sally, went to the local mall, shifted into park and steam was BLASTING out of my hood!Jumped out and turns out the guy who had her before went to flush the radiator and the adapter to put the hose back together broke, making both ends of the hose where it meets teh adapter SPILL coolant all over the header! Less then 4 hours of having my license, my little Sally broke down on me! But since she did help me pass the test, she got a new hose (goes from the heater core to the thermostat), then spent $500 on a new AOD trans for the 5.0 swap with a 10" lockout 3800 stall TC and TRANSBRAKE! Then I ordered a $400 kit from late model restoration that includes new eibach springs, and kyb struts and shocks that will be here wednesday! I'll clean up my 5.0 wheels and put new tires on them, then I'll give Sally her new shoes this week!

Update 7/30/08: My new steeda sport springs and kyb struts/shocks came into today and I also bought 2 new switches for overdrive and the transbrake for my AOD trans, along with $140+ worth of tools today. Still need a engine hoist, getting one next week hopefully!
