My modified 2006 Acura RL, purchased new in September 2006. I parted out, then traded this car for a 2009 Cadillac CTS-V on 3/20/09. I still miss my RL as it was a wonderful car, but I'm now enjoying the V.
Mods were:
A-Spec suspension
A-Spec 18" wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S tires (new tires as of 7/08)
NO A-Spec body kit because the lines flow better without it
Acura OEM rear lip spoiler
AEM cold air intake
5Zigen exhaust
50% tint with Johnson Films Greystone
Xpel clear bra (3M film)
SH-AWD + A-Spec + 18s with good tires=excellent handling. This heavy car sometimes feels only half its weight in the twisties. The name comes from the fact that unless you know the RL and look at its exhaust, you can't tell I modded the car much at all. Combine that with the slow sales of this fantastic car and you have a sleeper....a "Sleeping Beauty".

Some of the individual parts that make up a great ride....the finely crafted headlight, the 5Zigen Fireball Mega exhaust, the sharkfin antenna for XM/OnStar, the beautiful taillight that surely must have been handcrafted...

The RL is my preferred road trip cruiser. It sounds good when I tromp the go-pedal, handles the twisties with aplomb, yet cruises smoothly when asked to go in a straight line. Some pictures from a trip to Pike's Peak last year:

What the mods sound like in a quick 0-80 dash. I left the car in automatic mode as I generally don't abuse this car. Sounds much deeper than stock, a great sound.
On the dyno after install....this would be the equivalent of a driveby.
Note: whp gain was 13-14. The SH-AWD eats up a lot of the power. The car feels like it puts down way more than that.
