hey bro my leak was in the back of the transmission by the driveshaft, its not the same as your leak. I just needed to replace the seal that prevents the transmission fluid from leaking on the driveshaft and im pretty sure I broke my first seal while trying to install the new driveshaft. Gotta be careful with those, the springs are pretty delicate in them.

one word. ream main seal. thats the problem. and maybe he just filled it with too much oil. check out my mini van with the z motor. have a good laugh
