Hard to tell from the pictures but it looks better with the bigger tires
I also painted the exhaust with high temp paint.. It makes a HUGE difference and do not freak out about others saying that it will crack and look bad.. I have driven this car to Canada and back and had no problems. The only thing I would recommend is to put an extremely light coating.. just enough to cover the silver color... and don't do it when the exhaust is hot and do it in the evening or when you will not need to start the car for at least 4 hours...
If anyone is curious of the tire size is 235/65/R17. It does rub barely it I turn all the way to the left but I only notice it about once a month and it is not that bad.. It is weird that when I go all the way to the left it does not do it..
For a comparison with the Cherokee... The Patriot is actually larger
