This is my '77 Pinto page! I bought this beauty in October of '07, and it needs a bit a of TLC. At the moment it is a 4cyl auto, soon to be swapped with a 4cyl (fuel inj) + T-5. Gas tank has been recently restored, need some lower ball joints & an intermediate pipe for the exhaust. Muffler is Supertrapp.

That's odd our car stories are similar. I think the car came with tan carpet as the interior was tan when I bought it. I've since redone it in black. Yeah, fordpinto.com is a great site. Been on there since 2004 I think. Good luck on the tranny swap & have fun. I know I sure am.
