Well I got my first ford after owning a string of GM's. I'm very happy with what I ended up with! I bought the car with 65k on it and it was a BONE STOCK automatic car. It had the 3.27 gear option, but it was still very slow. I've been working on that ever since...You'll notice that a lot of my parts are stock parts from other mustangs and fords. I am trying to make a quick car using a lot of better factory parts and keep it on a low budget. So far I've turned my low 15 second car into a 13 second car cheaply! It's also not too hard when you start with one of the slowest modern mustangs made!!

UPDATE: I pulled off the cat back, pullies, and cold air intake. Those 3 mods have been proven to add basically NOTHING on a 4.6 car. These aren't the old 5.0's and don't respond to bolt ons the same. So off they went and sold. Now time for some more mods that will actually make power...

PERFORMANCE MODS
2000 PI heads (PI stands for "power improved" as the rating from the Non PI 4.6 mustangs are 215-225 and the "pi" is 260).
2000 PI cams
2002 PI intake manifold (aluminum crossover drilled for 2nd temp sensor)
UPR 2.5" off road x-pipe
Stainless Steel System (SSS) 2.5" catback (Removed!) Stock 03 mach 1 catback installed. No power loss and quiet. Sleeper!!
4.10 ring and pinion (stock ford explorer)
Custom Sniper tuned
Brothers performance Speed Calibrator
Ported Crown Vic plenum (5/8" taller, better bend in stock form than the mustang one)
Ported throttle body
Steeda underdrive pullies, alt, waterpump, sfi dampner (REMOVED)
JLT true cold air intake (removed for drop in k&n)

This is after the PI swap. Notice that it looks stock, the way I like it. If you are savvy with mustangs you'll notice that the oil filler is on the right (passenger) side instead of on the drivers side. This is because the windsor vavle covers had to be used when I swapped heads. If I used 2001+ heads it would be on the other side and you wouldn't be able to tell as easily.

I had an allen intercooled supecharger kit that I sold. Decided to hold off on forced induction for now as I could use the $$$ elsewhere. I also would rather have a centrifugal supercharger kit.

Style mods
I pulled off my bullitt wheels and now have a set of 95 "pony" wheels. The sleeper image continues...

Handling mods
Ford "B" springs. More to come though!
