I bought this off of a freind after I replaced the head gasket for him.

Here it is doing some poser flexing on an old stump.

A year later while driving down the interstate the #3 intake valve decided to get intimate with the piston.

So I decided to build the engine up to a degree.

A happily rebuilt 4ZE-1 2.6L

It now has an AMC head, Toga HV oil pump, Calmini camshaft, a .030 overbore and soon to come a mild turbo.

I also have the parts to swap the auto front hubs to manuals and upgrade the front brakes to the ones from a '92+ (bigger) Trooper

The factory "LS" rims will also be swapped out for some Isuzu "snowflakes"

I also plan on lifting it 6 inches soon

Hey man, thanks for showing in detail the gauge repair method you used, did you use the same mfgr/brand for all 3 gauges? Maybe the speed and tach can be changed to match the new ones, would look cool. I like those snowflakes.
