Lets start off with the cool and easy for the a.d.d. impaired.. 2 videos. 1 is a walk around of the accord at idle.. the other is a quick vtec run, but not a hard run.  Shifting about 500 rpms early (she redlines at 8,200rpms when the check engine light comes on as a shift lift) since i had to balance the camera, no powersteering, and shifting, while the camera blocks the tach and speedometer from my vision.  As well as untuned. ha so just for an example of what she sounds like and how she pulls.

Act now on this limited time offer.. and get a free video of a run in the H22 Euro-R Accord with the cell phone camera in my lap..  So its just the audio of a 1st thru 3rd run.. Find it below these 2 videos.

I drive a 98 Honda Accord EX 4-door, 4 cyl., 5 speed. She's got a H22 EuroR swap out of a 2000 Accord EuroR, she still doesn't have power steering yet... but she's quick, surprises a lot of people, and is fun as hell to drive. Like every car guy.. i got a lot more plans for her.  Probably will never be done and will never sell her. Also i do all the work to my car myself... with suspension bolts and computers being the biggest bitch so far.

P.S. Don't "Hate" because i own two or three vehicles... I was ranked within the top 20 Accords before i posted pics of the GSR (which has 193,000 miles on her). I work for my money, my parents are not rich, i mainly have what i have because i don't mind working.  I do all the work myself, i gag at the thought of someone else working on my car. I lived at home for 2 years to save up to buy the H22, not ask mommy and daddy for money.  It is a Honda Accord, and it is the ONLY one if its kind you will ever see.  It is more rare then most automobiles, being a 98 Honda Accord 4 door EX original 5 speed, with a genuine JDM H22 Euro R motor and tranny.. with the only proof being the reciept and the T2W4 Tranny... Or the burnout marks that lay both strips just as long and just as dark.. Hooked on LSD.

I love all cars.  From the Model T to the Jetsons.  Anything that is custom i can understand the fun of owning your own personally made car just for you.  Although there is many cars i see i would not support or do myself but i would never "Hate" on it as long as you like it.  Mainly, Ford, Chevy, VW, or whatever you drive, i have a good possibility of liking if you customize it with performance and "there for a reason" as your theme.  I'm not in to show cars as much as most... I like them low, fast, but mostly fun to drive.  And the Accord is fun as hell to drive, 8,200 rpms smoking both tires in 2nd gear backfiring and continuing to spin in third when everybody thinks your just getting groceries.  Whats not fun bout that. ha.

My first car and the Accord..  1978 Pontiac Grand Am, and yes you see power seats.  Still love that pimp mobile. haha.

For every car owner who never had the benefit of owning a four door grocery getter, you might not understand.  Imagine when you pass a cop in your bright red two door and everytime he is looking at you or you get pulled over for a bunch of random shit, just cause your car looks fast.. even though that might not be the case.  Now picture a car everybody see's as slow and a "grocery getter" then add 80hp, LSD, and the list below, and still sneak under the cops noses wearing 5 month old inspection stickers.... You'd understand why its hard to go flashy after owning one.

Modifications:

2000 H22A Euro-R Motor and Transmission swap..

---This is what makes it a Euro R H22... All done at the factory.

1mm bigger valves,

ported and polished head done by Honda,

LSD,

shorter gear-ratios,

T2W4 tranny,

straight runner intake manifold

(no butterfly valves ... similar to the B18c intake manifold out of an Integra Type R) ,

11.0:1 compression ratio,

2mm bigger throttle body (62mm),

7mm bigger exhaust manifold

and red valve cover

Rosko Racing IACV adapter plate

Rosko Racing EGR block off plate

Chipped OBDI P28 ECU..

OBDII->OBDI step down harness..

Megan Racing headers

(you shouldn't be interested in where i got these... Meant to purchase just for use of down pipe off header to use with the stock Euro-R exhaust manifold.. and of course the down pipe would not bolt onto the stock manifold so the entire megan racing header is in use till i crack the down pipe)

Hollow Cat

(Hammer and long pry bar, do not forget face mask and gloves, or at least do it in a well ventilated area)

Injen intake

Greddy evo II cat back

17"x7.5 Nex-o NX7 wheels with 215/40/17 Toyo Proxes

Ebay gauges

 (ha ebay of course)

"JDM" headlights

(another ebay mistake)

Promax 8000K HID's

M3 mirrors

(ebay.. stock 98 accord mirrors don't fold away, previous owner broke them.. m3 mirrors were like $30 for two or pay $80 for a single stock one that needs painted)

Shifter cut 2", rethreaded, stock knob back on.

(make sure you don't have to work after rethreading it.. especailly if you tried to save time and money by skipping from 12mm down to 10mm.. luckily sears was still open when i figured out that this idea wasn't working)

JVC Headunit

( O'brian Audio in Hummelstown, best service ever, they know their work well)

Infinity Reference interior speakers in all 4 corners

 (O'brian Audio in Hummelstown)

So, from here I'll just start from the beginning.  Seperating the pages by the year of the pictures taken.  Hopefully you can enjoy the process I took to get her to what she is today.  Any questions, comments, or requests for information or details on pictures.... Just sign my guestbook or send me a message and I'll get back to you. She is a constant project and no where near done, so input is still listened to and respected.  Ideas have to come from somewhere.

Lol yeaaah, i had a purple prelude lmfao... it was okay, but really wasn't my thing. Yeah a lot of people with "muscle" tend to not give credit for people who are into the tuning. The way i see it, ANY car can be fast with the right kind of work done to it. Everyone has there own personal taste on what they like, so people soundsbe so pregidous in the car world. A lot of people with muscle car's have big heads, those are usually the oky assholes lol. ( but i do have to admit, some people do go over board with the GIANT spoilers and stupid body kits lmfao:P ) yours is a very clean look tho!
