Thank you very much on the comments on my Galant, your Lancer was probably on the same path! It is a shame but we move on, where we come to your new G

I am an ECU tuning junky, and your 2002 G has an ECU that can be manipulated. Putting on a CAI and exhaust is cute and all, but if the ECU is not programmed for the new equipment, the gains are way less than they should produce.

Here is a $500 MTCavity shopping list that will give you the best bang for your buck. There are tons of options so if you have a different plan let me know

Open-port OBD II flash/Data-logging connector and cable for Mitsubishi $89.00

Cold air intake - from just about anywhere $100

Megan racing header and exhaust $300

Get a hold of me and I will look at a data-log and set up the ECU data to the new upgrades.

I can pull around 35 HP which may not seem like a-lot, but will defeantly breath easier and run through the rev band faster. The power-band of the 4G64 is between 2000-4800 RPM, and can be competative in auto-cross and know 4 people that race with their G's.

My G did not happen over-night, it was a long process of upgrades. At each new upgrade I was astounded on the hidden performance, now that I have boost, Im in heaven!
