Fred19832006's 1995 Mazda MPVI dont know why but the reverse gear is not working, it just revs and doesnt move. I hear that the transmission could be gone. This is one of the best cars Ive ever had as far as functionality. Snow no problem, mud no problem, ice no problem, sleepy no problem. This van is the bomb. I just dont know if I can keep it running, I added someone from here with an MPV like mine and they got a twin turbo 300ZX motor in theirs. Man I wish I could have that with a working transfer case for 4x4 and a reverse gear. Props to that guy with that MPV, totally. I had a sick sound system in this but I moved it to my Golf minus the box because I actually have just a frame that the two 12 inch Kenwoods sit in behind the rear passenger seat as well as a custom built rear deck panel which houses the fan cooled Kenwood amp beneath it. Ive had many good times with this Van, now its just sitting around. Im very sad that I cant drive it around at present. The car shifts gears as smooth as a Mercedes Benz, if not smoother. Not the fastest thing on four wheels but when the white stuff hits, its drives in 4WD mode like its not even snowing. Im in the search for a used transmission. Its on!!! Man its not over till its over!!!! Never losing faith in my MPV.
