This is an 89 Montero that i picked up for 800.00 with 208K. Top end was rebuilt 40K miles or so. Going to make it into my camping / ATV towing / off road 4x4. Any body have any good suggestions on where to start off with the modifacations???
These are the new wheels and tires that i put on, Little worried about them sticking out 3 inches... but i'll wait and see if i get a ticket for that.... Raised torsion bars up front to keep from rubbing... new tough country shocks...
With all of the snow storms that we have been pounded with here in Salt Lake I'm glad to have my Montero Beast.....
Ok, different wheels and with new tires, the wide wheels created a rooster tail as i drove down the snow bound highways. I did keep them for the trails and summer months. I would like to find some euro style fender flares, anybody know where i can get some????
