Right now she sits on our property, mothballed and awaiting restoration. This is my 'first' vehicle, as my other two my parents bought then I paid them. I scouted it out, negotiated it, and bought it myself, and will begin the restoration process of it sometime this winter.
This picture depicts what I my goal is once the restoration process is compete, including a 4" lift, rock sliders, and a stronger bumper.

I have already restored my 1974 FJ40 Land Cruiser, and have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge. I figure I can bring this project to completion in as-good-as or better than my FJ40 in half the cost. I am in the middle of developing a process plan to determine what I need, timeline, required tooling, and the like to efficiently make the most out of my resources.

The previous owner's father owned it originally, and he has many fond memories of the rig. However, the PO's father was in the tear-down process to restore it when he passed away, and the son doesn't have the time or resources to restore it like his dad was going to, and was happy that someone like me found it. I will do my best to restore it, and take care of it for both of them as well as myself. I will keep all you guys and gals updated from time to time on the progress, pictures will come.
Everyone has a little Captain in them!
