Here is the story of Schrodare's 1997 Eagle Talon TSI AWD
In the summer of 2007 I was searching for what would be my next project car, after owning 23 cars from the age of 16 to 22 I'm looking for something for a long term project. After weeks of searching and really not finding anything I was interested in investing money in or a car that the owner hadn't driven the shit out of. I came across this Talon in the Auto Trader, little did I know it was going to be love at first site.. Arriving at the location the car was parked at, Being a Auto body painter I couldn't get over the shape it was in for having original paint and body on 200,000 plus kms..
Expecting a younger gentleman to be answering the door to my surprise it was a 40 year old man. Now nothing against you old guys haha, but to have a car like this at that age is rare..
Ended up he had owned this car from pretty much new, I liked what I was hearing so far, gets better thinking it was a stock car. I was shock to hear it was equipped with a Stage 2 TRE tranny and a set of HKS 272 cams to go along with it.. After the test drive this car had a new owner..

With the 07 car season pretty much under way, it was time to get serious. My goal for this car was to make it a "SLEEPER" as much as possible...
The Talon is tuned to run on 94 octane and runs 20 psi daily...

It has only been 5 months of building a Turbo Sport Compact car but, It is an ongoing process, pushing the upper limits of finding horsepower, Blowing a head, and toasting the clutch faster then u can say opps, Raising Boost Pressure and lowering 1/4 Mile times..

As the 2007 season wines to an end, all in all it has been a great season... Lots accomplished, lots of new friends, and lots of memories to remember.. Stay in touch as the winter has lots of surprises in store!!
