For those who want to ask me on what kind of paint ive used,
it was "DUPLICOLOR" paint.
The First time I saw this car inside the showroom of Stevens Creek Mitsubishi in California i was like "WOW THAT'S A AGGRESSIVE LOOKING CAR!" (at first i didnt know that it was the new 2008 lancer till they told me... lol) So before i took off, i asked for a brochure. Two weeks after reading the bible (Brochure) i went back to the dealer and bought this car
So the "PROJECT: RED KNIGHT™®" HAS BEGUN !
First I took my car to a Tinting Shop to get my windows tinted. I got 30% at my front windows and 5% at the back.
Second is I shaved 2 of my emblems the "Mitsubishi" and the "Lancer" and left the Diamond Logo on. Oooh! By the way the Guy Who's picking hes nose that is sitting on the background is my favorite nephew. LOL
The Third thing I did was paint my rims. The color that I've picked is the Charcoal Black so it would have a Gunmetal finish. If I'm not mistaken I think it took me 8 cans of spray paint, that includes 1 can of Primer ,2 Cans of Clear Coat And 5 Charcoal Black.
Then I bought a Universal HKS Carbon Ti muffler. I went to Merlins to get it welded but they had a hard time to figure out how would they do it. they are such Jackasses so Freakin Dumb! So then "I" gave them an idea... Atlast!!!
This is how it ended up.... too much!
Im afraid that I have to redo it again. But this time Im gonna go to the experts, the one that has a lot of knowledge in bending pipes....T_T
.... Then I bought a Flat Black Vinyl Sticker from a Sign Shop then I used it on the middle
of my bumper. The size is (2'x3') cut it lengthwise so u'll have 2pcs of (1'x3'),yeah! yeah! I know it's to big. The only reason why is if ever I screw up on the first try there's gonna be a reserved Vinyl sticker for me to use.
It's your call if you want to use paint or vinyl.,the reason i've used vinyl is because if ever i want to go back with the stock "Rally Red™" bumper I can just peel off the vinyl, plus no need for touch-up paint to cover the chippped area. Vinyl is better too you know why? it acts like a protection from small debris (Small rocks from the road) that you get on the road the main cause of chipping on the paint
I had my H.I.D. Fog lights Installed
Whew!....Lastly!.....Painted my grille. I Bought a Semi-Gloss Flat Black spray paint and a very fine sand paper I think it was 320 Grit (i'm not sure but just look for the finest one). What i did is, i sanded my grille so the paint won't be chipped off that easily. I did put 5 coatings.
This is the fomula hehehe! WTF?

After all those hardworks.....You're going to park your PROJECT then you'll walk 15-20ft away from it. YOU'LL BE SMILING and will be thinking..........

i just added a new trick to my lancer, i did some re-wiring to my signal lights (side marker lights). i call it the "Alternating signal / park lights when my park lights are on my side marker lights are on, but when i use my turning signal lights they are alternating (like from the EMERGENCY VEHICLES).
WHAT? NOTHING I JUST FEEL LIKE TAKING A PICTURE OF A DEAD LEAF THATS ALL!
