Hi all, Have just registered as a member, and thought I would share some pics of my 1937 Nash Lafayette 400..

This is how I found the car, totally stripped and rusted, scattered around the shed.

First time to see the sun in a long time (behind my 32 roadster of the time).

Has independent Front end mounted, and front panels mocked up to get a visual of the finished look.

Front and rear ends mounted, starting to look more like a car.

All the hard work done(has 350/t350 Chev motor, disc brake ind front end, coil spring/4 bar rear suspension, almost ready for paint.

All finished, this pic was taken a few miles up the coast from my old home town(Gisborne New Zealand).

A View of the front, The grill, running boards, tail lights and bonnet sides were all made by myself.

Pic of the dash/front seat.

Pic of the rear seat (rear out of a Toyota Cresida)

Looking in the engine bay, I hinged the hood forward using long and short arms. So that when lowered it sat like it did back in 1937.

Close up of the motor, 355 Chev, tunnel ram with single 4 barrel holley 600 vac sec(had twins, but I bought a single log manifold and changed it to single)

a quick pic of the Nash with 14" wheels, flappers and hubcaps, hope to make spats for the rear guarde to bring it to look more lowrider style.
