Mods, Phase 2
On Phase 2, I started with some lights, my indoor lighting was shot and didn't work so I wanted some light for when I was driving at night.
I ran a wire with a button up to the stock buttons in the center console. Had 12" cold cathodes with blue color under the dash for the floor boards.

You can notice on both pictures that I also added a 5' neon string to go around the center console. Since the images were taken, I removed it because the annoying high pitched sound that it makes. It's a quiet sound but it annoyed me and my speakers weren't loud enough to cover it up.
ALSO!
I've recently relocated this button down by the e-brake. Looks flush. Put button spacers to fill the gaps in the dash.

Okay so next up on the mods list, NEW SPEAKERS!! Yeah, I went online and bought some cheap roadways. They're cheap but they do the job. I believe it's 400watts on the rear 6x9's and 200~ on the front 6's. So these aren't too bad. In these pics, this is directly after installing. I had no covers for the speaker panels because the old speakers were stolen and they broke these panels and threw them out when they were taking them.

The subwoofer was given to me by a friend. It's an 8" 75watt home stereo subwoofer. It's cheap but it gave me some bass temporarily.
Next on the mod list, Cone filter!!! Made a big difference and sounded great.
Last on this phase of mods was my carpet. I pulled the old carpet out, and put in all new auto carpet from autozone. Non-molded, straight rolled carpet.

You can also see the carpet in the lighting pictures above.
Also, you can see where I started on painting the interior black if you look at the panel on the side at the edge of the carpet.
